Speaking in pidgin English, he told travelers to respect flight attendants, switch off their phones when instructed, and avoid any actions that could compromise safety. He also warned that anyone causing trouble could face public embarrassment if the incident is shared online.
The video emerged amid recent controversies at airports involving celebrities and passengers.
“Please, with all due respect, if you know you won’t follow the rules, it’s better you collect your money back and come down,” he said.
“When the flight attendant tells you to switch off your phone, kindly do so. Your network can interfere with the aircraft’s system. We value our lives.
“If you disobey and they drag you, whether your body is exposed or not, it will still be posted online. Nobody’s life should be risked because of pride or arrogance.”
