Veteran Nollywood actor Fabian Adibe has passed away at the age of 85.
According to Naija News, Adibe, best known for his role in the film adaptation of “Things Fall Apart,” died early Wednesday at 2:30 am.
The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.
Celebrity journalist Seun Oloketuyi confirmed the news on Instagram, writing, “Things Fall Apart actor, Fabian Adibe, is dead. Died 2:am this morning.”
Adibe was part of Nollywood’s pioneering generation, helping to lay the foundation for the country’s film industry. In the 1970s, he was among the prominent Igbo youths who established Odunke Artists.
