The Federal Government has appointed music star and humanitarian Innocent “2Face” Idibia as the National Fire Safety Ambassador, tasking him with raising public awareness and promoting safer fire prevention practices across Nigeria.
The announcement was made on Friday in Abuja by the Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Samuel Adeyemi, during the closing ceremony of the 2025 National Fire Safety Week at the Service’s Headquarters.
The Safety Week, themed “Building a Culture of Fire Safety Across Nigeria: Overcoming the ‘Not My Portion’ Mentality,” aimed to encourage Nigerians to take personal responsibility for fire prevention. Adeyemi, represented by Deputy Controller General Aliyu Tambari, said the initiative began with a virtual town hall and included the presentation of Bankers’ Cheques under the Group Life Insurance Scheme to families of fallen and injured fire officers.
The week also featured awards and the presentation of the “CG’s Cup,” sponsored by Kabir Lateef, to motivate and recognise outstanding Fire Service personnel. Officers carried out nationwide sensitisation programs in schools, markets, and major commercial centres, alongside street roadshows, drills, and demonstrations to teach practical fire prevention skills.
Adeyemi described the public response as “remarkable,” highlighting renewed national commitment to safety. Individuals and institutions demonstrating exemplary compliance and collaboration with the Fire Service were presented with certificates and awards.
Special recognition was given to 2Face Idibia, whose influence and reach are expected to amplify fire safety messaging, inspire behavioural change, and engage millions of Nigerians in the national safety agenda.
“As National Fire Safety Ambassador, we expect him to inspire a new generation to embrace a culture of safety,” Adeyemi said.
He reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to improving training, modernising operations, enhancing inter-agency coordination, and deepening community engagement, stressing that fire safety is an ongoing responsibility. Adeyemi also thanked the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, civil society organisations, corporate partners, community leaders, and fire officers for their contributions to the success of the Safety Week.

Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.

I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article. https://accounts.binance.com/register-person?ref=IXBIAFVY
Found something new in here that I had not seen explained this way before, and a quick stop at xunmora expanded the idea even further, the kind of writing that nudges your thinking forward a bit without forcing the issue is exactly what I look for online today and rarely actually find anywhere.
Reading carefully here has reminded me what reading carefully feels like, and a look at pueblonorth extended that reminder, the experience of careful reading versus skimming is different in ways I had partially forgotten and this site has clearly refreshed my memory of what attention feels like when content rewards it consistently.
The lack of unnecessary jargon made the post accessible without sacrificing accuracy, and a look at discoverpowerfulideas continued in the same accessible style, technical topics often hide behind specialised vocabulary but here the writer trusts the reader to keep up with plain language and that trust pays off nicely throughout the entire post.
Decided to write a short note to the author if there is contact info anywhere, and a stop at honeymeadowmarketgallery extended that intention, the urge to thank the writer directly is a strong signal of content quality and this site has triggered that urge in me today which is a fairly rare event for my reading.
If patience for careful reading is rare these days finding sites that reward it is rarer still, and a stop at thinkcreativelyalways extended that rare reward, the diminishing returns on shallow content reading have made me more selective about where to spend reading time and this site is meeting the higher selectivity bar consistently.
Picked something concrete from the post that I will use immediately, and a look at buildstrongmomentum added another concrete piece, content that produces immediately useful output rather than just abstract appreciation is content that earns its place in my regular rotation without needing any further evaluation from me at this point honestly.
