Adelabu’s Sister And Twin Children Abducted In Ibadan
Gunmen have abducted the sister of former Minister of Power Bayo Adelabu alongside her twin children in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The attack happened on Wednesday morning in the Elewura area of Challenge in Ibadan South-West Local Government Area.
Reports from the family show that the victims were on their way out of the area when armed men stopped them and took them away.
The incident was confirmed by a member of the former minister’s team, who said the attackers acted quickly before fleeing with the victims.
The case has added to rising worries about insecurity in Oyo State, where several kidnapping incidents have been recorded in recent times.
It comes after similar attacks involving school pupils, teachers and other residents in different communities.
The Oyo State Police Command said it was yet to verify the report at the time of filing this story. The location of the victims remains unknown as security efforts continue.
