The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified Ekiti State governorship aspirant, Engr Kayode Ojo, from participating in the party’s upcoming primary election and the 2026 gubernatorial race.
The announcement came shortly after Ojo visited the APC secretariat in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday, where party executives reportedly refused to receive him.
Ojo’s arrival had drawn massive attention, as he was accompanied by thousands of supporters from across the 16 local government areas of the state, effectively shutting down parts of Ado-Ekiti ahead of the October 27 primary.
According to a report by TVC News, the party has confirmed Ojo’s disqualification from the governorship contest.
