Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed that he is still searching for spiritual fulfillment, even after converting from Christianity to Islam.
Speaking to streamer Playboymax, Burna Boy admitted that his deep dive into religious texts often leaves him more confused than enlightened.
“Growing up, I was a Christian and then I converted to Islam. I’ve studied it all, but I’m still out here trying to figure out what is really going on. The more I research, the more confused I get,” he said.
He added that his journey for personal truth and spiritual understanding is ongoing.
