Carter Efe recently shared a funny and memorable moment from Shallipopi’s concert at the Iconiq Fest in Lagos, where he spotted Burna Boy. The Grammy-winning singer’s surprise appearance had fans on their feet and became one of the event’s highlights.

Efe told a female friend, “You know I saw Burna Boy yesterday?” He explained that Burna Boy looked at him a couple of times, but when he tried to get closer, the singer’s bodyguards and bouncers immediately stepped in and sent him away, leaving him feeling a bit disappointed.

His friend sympathized, saying, “Sorry for everything you’ve been through,” and Efe replied, “Thank you.”

She then tried to compliment him, beginning to say he had “made it” and seemed about to mention another big artist, but Carter humorously interrupted, saying, “Shut up your mouth, who have made it.”

The story highlighted Carter Efe’s playful personality and the excitement of seeing one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars in person, even if security prevented him from getting too close.
