The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the results of candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME on April 17 and 18.

The update was shared on Sunday evening by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.

A total of 1,264,940 results from the two days have been made available. Candidates can now check their scores through the official channels.

The board explained that candidates are to send “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.

This comes after earlier delays that caused concern among candidates nationwide.

The latest release adds to the results already made public. It confirms that the marking process is ongoing in batches.

Before this update, the board had released 632,752 results from the April 16 examination. This brings the total number of results released so far to 1,897,692.

The development addresses complaints from candidates who had been waiting for the Friday batch. Many had expressed worry over the delay.

The spokesperson had earlier promised that the results would be out before midnight on Saturday but later apologised for the delay.

He explained that the board’s chief executive was unavailable at the time. He assured candidates that the results would be released before nightfall on Sunday.

The board also thanked candidates for their patience.
