JAMB Releases UTME Results
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the results of 632,788 candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME on its opening day.
The announcement was made by Fabian Benjamin in a statement. He said the results are now available for checking, while printing will be enabled later.
The board explained that candidates can check their scores by sending UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using their registered phone numbers.
It noted that the current access is limited to viewing only. Further updates will follow once full access is activated.
JAMB warned candidates against altering or faking result messages to deceive others.
It said such acts are criminal and will be treated seriously. The board confirmed that two candidates and one parent are already in custody over alleged result manipulation using digital tools.
The examination body added that the UTME is still ongoing across the country. It said more results will be released in batches as the process continues.
Candidates have been advised to follow only official channels for updates.
