NASS Promises Fast Security Reforms
Senate President Godswill Akpabio says the National Assembly will speed up work on major security and economic reforms to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He said lawmakers are determined to pass measures aimed at improving the country.
Akpabio explained that the reforms are expected to address insecurity, economic hardship and challenges affecting Nigerians.
He noted that the legislature would continue working closely with the executive to achieve better results.
According to him, the Senate and House of Representatives understand the urgency of the nation’s problems and are ready to prioritise bills that can strengthen security and revive the economy.
He added that cooperation between both arms of government remains necessary to deliver stability, growth and improved living conditions for citizens across the country.
