NMA Urges Tinubu To Act On Health Boards
The Nigerian Medical Association has called on the federal government to urgently constitute the full membership of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and the boards of federal health institutions to address delays in handling medical negligence cases.
The Lagos State branch of the association made the appeal following controversy surrounding the report of the Medical and Dental Practitioners Investigation Panel on the death of 21 month old Nkanu Adichie Esege.
Chairman of the association in Lagos, Dr Saheed Babajide, said the situation has exposed a gap in the country’s health regulatory system because the council is not fully constituted.
He explained that although a chairman of the council has been appointed, other members are yet to be named, making it difficult for the disciplinary tribunal to function effectively and deliver final decisions on medical negligence cases.
The association urged President Bola Tinubu to immediately constitute the full council and boards of federal health institutions to ensure timely resolution of complaints and restore public confidence in the healthcare system.

Comfortable reading experience throughout, no jarring tone shifts and no awkward formatting, and a look at honeymeadowmarketgallery kept that smooth feel going, the kind of editorial polish that goes unnoticed when present but glaring when absent is something this site has clearly invested in across the broader content as well which deserves recognition.
Found this through a friend who recommended it and now I see why, and a look at shopgatemarket only strengthened that recommendation in my own mind, word of mouth still works for content that actually delivers and this site is clearly earning recommendations the old fashioned way through quality rather than marketing.
Appreciate that you did not pad this with fluff to hit a word count, the post says what it needs to say and stops, and a look at progressbyintention did the same, brevity here feels intentional not lazy which is a distinction many writers miss completely sometimes when they are working under deadlines.
