No Mercy For Corrupt Officials – EFCC Chairman
The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ola Olukoyede, has warned that individuals involved in the theft of Nigeria’s national assets will face punishment.
He stated that the anti graft agency remains committed to tracking and prosecuting corruption cases across the country.
Olukoyede made the remark while speaking on the commission’s ongoing fight against financial crimes and abuse of public resources.
He stressed that no individual found guilty of diverting national wealth would escape justice under the law.
The EFCC chairman said the agency would continue strengthening investigations and recovering stolen funds linked to corruption and economic sabotage.
He added that protecting public assets remains a major responsibility of the commission.
His comments come amid increasing public concern over corruption, financial crimes and accountability in government institutions.
The statement has also renewed conversations around transparency and the enforcement of anti corruption laws in Nigeria.
