The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Anambra chapter has set up a seven man disciplinary committee.
The disciplinary committee which was inaugurated in Awka on Thursday had Chief Odili Ojukwu as chairman and Mr Obinna Ogugua as secretary.
Other members were: Mrs Uju Edochie, Deputy Chairman, Mr Chris Maduagwu, Mr Nnamdi Nwangwu, member, Chief Casmir Ilechukwu member and Chief Okechukwu Ekemezie, member.
Mr Chidi Chidebe, chairman of the party in Anambra said the committee was charged with the responsibility of upholding discipline and ensuring adherence to the Constitution, rules, and regulations of the PDP.
Chidebe said it was to also investigate allegations of misconduct, anti-party activities, or actions capable of bringing the Party into disrepute as well as recommend appropriate measures or sanctions in accordance with the PDP Constitution.
