Reality star Phyna has launched a scathing attack on activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), accusing him of manipulation and lying in a series of Instagram Story posts. The feud comes after VDM criticized Phyna for allegedly betraying him during efforts to assist her sister, Ruth, who was involved in a Dangote truck accident.
In her posts, Phyna shared screenshots of their conversations, claiming VDM edited chats to make her look uncooperative. She alleged he ignored her calls and messages, misrepresented her involvement in handling her sister’s case, and manipulated situations to place himself at the center of attention.
Phyna wrote: “OMO MANIPULATOR TOP RATED… LIES CHOKE!!!!! WELL ONE DAY SHA, JUST ONE DAY….” She added that despite trying to keep VDM updated on key events—including hospital arrangements and coordinating with her mechanic—he still misled others about her actions.
She recounted multiple instances where she felt betrayed, from VDM misrepresenting her messages to his friends, to editing videos of their interactions for public view. She described him as a “betrayer” and said: “VERY DARK MAN IS A LIAR… VDM LIED ON MY HEAD… I am not scared to say my truth… My rating for him just reduced from 1000 to 0.0000.”
Phyna explained that she went public because she was emotionally overwhelmed and wanted to defend her truth: “I was emotionally down… I didn’t know what I was going through… If someone lies to me, I can’t take it.” She also clarified that VDM’s claims about fear or hesitation from third parties were false: they were simply unwilling to engage with him, not scared.
The exchange highlights the intense tensions between the two, with Phyna asserting that her mental and emotional wellbeing was compromised by what she describes as VDM’s dishonesty and manipulative behavior. Her posts have ignited widespread discussion online, with fans divided over the dispute.
This latest outburst follows a previous incident where VDM accused Phyna of betrayal for not keeping him informed about her sister’s accident. Phyna had apologized in a video, but her recent Instagram rant shows the conflict is far from over.
