Portable has made headlines after a conversation with comedian and Twitch streamer Carter Efe went viral online.
Carter Efe reached out to Portable via direct message, requesting his appearance on an upcoming live session. Portable responded, setting his fee at N10 million.
When Carter Efe offered N9.9 million, Portable refused, insisting on the full amount. He referenced previous appearances by celebrities like Davido, Ini Edo, Shallipopi, and Wale, noting the recognition and gifts he received from them.
Portable emphasized his status, saying, “Stars do not beg to shine,” and advised Carter Efe to seek support from his audience if he wanted him to appear. He added that his fee was divinely guided, quoting God: “Do not give them the glory for free, collect money.”
He remained firm that Carter Efe must meet his N10 million demand if he wishes to secure his participation.
