The Presidency has terminated the appointment of Fegho John Umunubo, who was Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Digital and Creative Economy in the Office of the Vice President.
The announcement was made on Monday through a statement by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Abiodun Oladunjoye, who stressed that Umunubo has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.
According to the statement, Umunubo “no longer represents this administration in any capacity,” adding that any individual or organization dealing with him under the guise of presidential authority does so at their own risk.
The warning was addressed to stakeholders in the digital and creative economy both locally and internationally, as well as to the general public.
Oladunjoye further emphasized: “Stakeholders and constituents of the digital and creative economy, at home and abroad, are hereby notified that Fegho John Umunubo has been disengaged with immediate effect. He no longer speaks or acts on behalf of this administration, and any engagement with him in that regard will be at the risk of those involved.”
