President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday evening after concluding his work vacation.
The President had left for France on September 4, 2025, for part of his annual holiday, initially planning to split the period between France and the United Kingdom. A pre-departure statement had indicated the vacation would last 10 working days.
However, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, announced on Monday that Tinubu had ended his work vacation early and would resume official duties in Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
During his time in Paris, President Tinubu held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.
The two leaders discussed key areas of cooperation between Nigeria and France and agreed to strengthen their partnership for mutual prosperity and global stability.
