Actress Rita Daniels and her husband have publicly thanked Nigerians after finally reuniting with their son, Sammy West, who was allegedly arrested in Lagos and flown to Abuja on the orders of Senator Ned Nwoko.
In a selfie video recorded by actress Doris Ogala, Rita Daniels appeared alongside her husband, smiling through visible relief as she repeatedly said “Thank you” to Nigerians for their prayers, concern, and support during the family’s difficult time.
The Daniels family had earlier raised alarm when Sammy’s wife revealed that he was lured by someone pretending to be a realtor before being arrested and taken to Abuja. The incident quickly drew widespread attention online, with several celebrities and citizens demanding his release.
Rita Daniels had also accused Senator Ned Nwoko of targeting her family and using his influence against them following growing tensions between him and her daughter, actress Regina Daniels.
Now that Sammy has been found, Rita and her husband expressed their heartfelt appreciation to everyone who stood by them. In the video shared by Doris Ogala, the couple thanked Nigerians for their solidarity, saying the love and support they received proved the power of unity and public advocacy.
Their message of gratitude quickly went viral, with many Nigerians rejoicing that the family’s ordeal had finally come to an end.
