Tinubu, Governors Planning To use State Police For Election Rigging – Galadima
Nigeria Democratic Congress chieftain Buba Galadima has opposed the planned creation of state police, claiming the proposal could be used against opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He argued that the move is driven by politics rather than the fight against insecurity.
Galadima questioned how state police would succeed where the military and the Nigeria Police Force have struggled. He warned that giving governors control of state police could create fresh challenges during future elections.
His remarks followed the Senate’s approval of a constitutional amendment bill seeking to establish state police. The proposal is part of efforts to reform Nigeria’s policing system as insecurity continues across many parts of the country.
The proposal has continued to divide opinion across the country. While supporters believe it will strengthen security, critics, including the Peoples Redemption Party, fear it could open the door to political interference and abuse of power.

Anything that threatens their demonic tribal and religious grip on Nigerian government, in their free meals non interrupting processes, they will always label in their deceptive ‘takia’ language styles as anti democratic. As if the privilege of such squid 🐙 democracy is only for their ruthless inhuman consumption by others for their own singular good..YEYE DE SMELL!!!
