The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has declared himself a proud agent of President Bola Tinubu, describing his role as part of the administration’s efforts to address challenges Nigerians face due to past poor governance.
Wike made the remarks during the official flag-off of the Northern Parkway construction project, stretching from Ring Road II to Ring Road III in Abuja.
He urged Nigerians to continue supporting Tinubu, emphasizing the president’s commitment to improving the nation’s welfare.
“Give support to those who need to do well. Tinubu is doing well and is committed to improving the welfare of this country. He is determined to see that this nation reaches the level it deserves,” Wike said.
He acknowledged the impatience of Nigerians, noting the difficult conditions inherited by the current administration.
“Yes, when you are coming from a bad period, you have been patient, and now you require a miracle. That’s what we’re facing. Things were terribly bad, but someone has come to fix it. I know you are impatient, but I appeal to you to continue to be patient. You will see how things will turn around.
“Mr President is working towards it through his agents, like us. We are agents of Mr President, and we are very proud agents, very proud indeed,” Wike added.
