Abuja-Kaduna Train Derails, Several Carriages Overturned

A passenger train traveling from Abuja to Kaduna derailed on Tuesday morning, causing several carriages to overturn and sparking panic among passengers.

According to Arise News, the accident occurred along the busy corridor shortly after the train left Abuja around 11 a.m. en route to Kaduna.

Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene, with passengers scrambling for safety amid fear and confusion.

The cause of the derailment remains unknown, and there has been no official confirmation of injuries or fatalities. Military personnel have reportedly been deployed to help evacuate stranded passengers.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
