ADC Set To Defeat APC – Atiku
Atiku Abubakar has said the African Democratic Congress is preparing to take on the All Progressives Congress in upcoming elections.
He spoke after meeting party stakeholders from Adamawa State at his residence in Abuja, where discussions focused on strengthening the party’s base.
He said the party must stay united and inclusive, urging new leaders in the state to work together and resolve internal divisions.
According to him, the ADC has grown into a strong opposition platform capable of challenging the ruling party if it maintains discipline and fairness.
The meeting followed tensions within the party in Adamawa after recent congresses produced new leadership.
Supporters of a governorship aspirant had protested the outcome, raising concerns over how the process was handled. Party leaders at the meeting discussed the need to address these grievances.
Atiku maintained that with proper organisation and unity, the ADC could position itself as a serious alternative ahead of the next elections.
He said building trust within the party would be key to gaining wider public support.
