APC Begins Aspirant Screening
The All Progressives Congress has released the timetable for screening aspirants seeking tickets for the Senate and House of Representatives ahead of its primary elections.
The exercise is scheduled to take place in Abuja from May 9 to May 10, 2026.
According to the party, Senate aspirants will undergo screening at the Abuja Continental Hotel, while House of Representatives hopefuls will be screened at Treasures Suites and Conferences.
Both exercises are expected to begin by 10 a.m. on each day.
The announcement was made on Friday by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, through a post on the party’s official X handle.
Aspirants were advised to appear on time and come with all necessary documents and credentials for verification.
The screening process forms part of the ruling party’s preparations for the National Assembly primaries, where candidates for the 2026 legislative elections will emerge.
Party officials say the exercise is aimed at ensuring only qualified aspirants make it to the next stage.
