Hon. Ejeh Udeh, a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) figure in Otukpo, Benue State, has been shot and killed by unidentified gunmen
The attackers reportedly stormed his Ugboju home around midnight on Monday, lying in wait before ambushing him as he entered the compound.
Eyewitnesses said the gunmen, who came on a motorcycle, opened fire on Udeh in front of his family before fleeing the scene.
His remains have been taken to the Otukpo General Hospital morgue. Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the killing.
