Sheila Courage, the estranged wife of Israel DMW, recently celebrated a major personal milestone—buying her first car, a Lexus ES 350.
Sharing the news on social media, she revealed she purchased the car about a month ago and used the moment to share a deeper story of faith and personal growth.
In her caption, she wrote:
“Got my first car about a month ago. I’m a story teller and I would take this chance to tell a story of how nothing makes sense without God. I found myself at a point I had all I wanted but I felt so empty! It was depressing and nothing brought me the joy I once knew until it clocked that what was missing is my relationship with God, it had gone so cold, not absent but not the same, not better, sour. Long story short my joy is restored! God reached out to me and I ran to him desperately. Got counsel from my pastor and my mum and it’s been better, I told myself my walk with God isn’t going to be performative, it’s a journey meant to last forever so imma take it a day at a time consistently. And my pastor said something, walking with God isn’t about your emotions but based on knowledge! You don’t need to feel it. In essence if e dey e dey if e didn’t dey it didn’t Dey.
Now this is for someone, you’re not too damaged! Too broken! Too far lost gone for God to reach and do wonders with! He loves you even in your mess so let him turn that mess to a message. Go back to the potters house.
Lastly my caption for my car was going to be ‘if you see me drive by comot for road I be leaner’ but yo I ain’t no leaner no more o I dey match am well.
