Ibom Air passenger Comfort Emmanson has met with Mike Achimugu, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), as part of an ongoing investigation into an incident involving her and the airline’s crew.
Achimugu disclosed the development on X, adding that NCAA officials also met with Ibom Air representatives to move the investigation toward a conclusion.
Sharing photos from the Abuja meeting, he wrote that the NCAA team had earlier engaged Julie Edwards and other crew members involved in the case. He noted that the directorates of Aviation Security, Operations, Licensing and Training Standards, Legal, and Consumer Protection are jointly handling the investigation to ensure a thorough outcome.
Achimugu also confirmed that Emmanson attended the meeting with her lawyer.
