The Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, alongside members of the House, has officially suspended Hon. Isienyi Mmaduaburochuchu of Ayamelum Constituency following his recent unruly activities on social media.

This decisive move comes after Hon. Isienyi continuously launched baseless attacks against Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, and allegations surrounding the death of honourable azuka who was killed by unknown gun man in the state without presenting any concrete evidence to back his claims. Many observers have since described his actions as a clear sign of lack of coordination and leadership capacity.

Reacting to the development, Hon. Chinedu Eze-Mokwe (Atinga One), President of IYDA, commended the Assembly for restoring sanity and protecting the integrity of the legislature.

“It is regrettable that Umu Ayamelum sacrificed such a strategic position for someone so uncoordinated. After just two years, he has reduced himself to nothing more than an online legislator, while the seat in Awka remains empty. This should serve as a lesson that money is not everything. Either you use your brain, or your brain will use you,” Eze-Mokwe stated.

He further stressed that the suspension should be a wake-up call for anyone who views leadership as an avenue for noise-making rather than service.

The people of Ayamelum, he added, can now look forward to peace and sanity after what he described as a “wasted opportunity.”
