Ogun Communities To Face Power Cut
Several communities in Ogun State will experience a six-hour electricity outage today due to scheduled maintenance work on the power network.
The interruption is expected to affect residents during daytime hours.
The power cut is linked to a planned maintenance exercise on a 40MVA 132/33KV transformer at the McPherson Transmission Substation.
The work is set to run between 10am and 4pm as engineers carry out routine servicing.
Officials said the maintenance is necessary to improve the stability and performance of the electricity supply system.
They noted that such upgrades help reduce future breakdowns and improve service delivery.
Residents in the affected areas have been advised to prepare for the temporary disruption and plan their activities around the outage period.
