Tinubu Vows Crackdown On Killers In Plateau Attack
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has vowed to go after those behind the killings in Plateau State, saying anyone identified will face decisive action.
He also approved N2 billion in relief for victims of the March 29 attack in Jos North.
Speaking to a delegation led by Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Tinubu urged leaders to expose troublemakers and called for unity across ethnic and religious lines.
He backed the formation of a peace committee made up of former governors and again pushed for state police as a long-term solution.
Mutfwang said the state is ready to work with all stakeholders to restore peace.
