Nigerian activist Verydarkman has debunked a viral photo linking him to actress Nkechi Blessing’s alleged pregnancy, insisting that the image is fake and created to damage his reputation.
In a statement shared online, he clarified that the picture was artificially generated and likely connected to the misuse of slimming product ads circulating on social media.
“I am not the man responsible for her pregnancy, if she is. I have never met her in my life and I am sure I won’t be willing to meet her ever. Please disregard this picture because it is a fake picture to tarnish my reputation. I am certain this is AI. In my humble opinion, I think it is the combination of different slimming products that is in that belle. Thank you all, have a lovely Sunday and say no to false advertising in Nigeria, protect one another, say no to bullying too,” he wrote.
This comes just days after his public feud with Nkechi Blessing, where both exchanged heated words on social media following a viral gym photo of the actress that sparked body-shaming remarks.
Verydarkman also used the opportunity to urge Nigerians to remain vigilant against manipulated content, false advertising, and online bullying.
