What I Discussed With Amaechi In Abuja – Atiku
ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has revealed that his meeting with former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi focused on Nigeria’s worsening economy and growing insecurity.
The discussion took place during a visit to Amaechi’s Abuja residence on Thursday.
Atiku said both leaders spoke extensively about the country’s condition and the need for patriotic Nigerians to help find solutions.
He explained that the talks centred on hardship, insecurity and efforts to stop the nation from sliding further into crisis.
The former vice president also used the visit to celebrate Amaechi’s birthday and shared light moments over football discussions.
He joked about Arsenal’s success and praised Amaechi’s hospitality during the meeting.
The meeting came shortly after Atiku won the ADC presidential primary in Abuja, defeating Amaechi and Mohammed Hayatu-Deen.
Despite the outcome, both defeated aspirants have continued to question the credibility of the primary process.
