Tufabs, a close associate of music star Wizkid, has raised alarm over alleged threats to his life from Afrobeats singer Davido.
Taking to his X account, Tufabs wrote:
“MY LIFE IS IN DANGER. I’M BEING THREATENED! If you talk you go kpai, if you no talk you go still kpai. I’ve kept quiet long enough and I’m about to set it straight for the whole of today… Get ready.”
He accompanied the post with screenshots of an alleged conversation with Davido.
In the exchange, Davido allegedly warned: “My name is not Osakpolo. I’m warning you.”
Tufabs responded: “But I didn’t even call you that. Please stop warning me, bro. Abeg, we’ve moved past all these levels.”
Davido reportedly replied: “That’s all I will say.”
When pressed further, Davido allegedly added: “I dey warn you. Wetin wan happen? U be bird, I be aye. Make we play the game. Oya.”
Tufabs, in defense of his actions, explained that he has never spoken ill of Davido, adding that the singer often ignores people who praise or show him goodwill.
Accompanying the screenshots, he shared a disclaimer:
“I am not affiliated with any cult or fraternity, and I don’t have a problem with anyone who is. I am who I am—I’m an army of God and a chosen one of Christ. God is my fortress. Psalm 91:2 🙏
But as you can see in this screenshot, I am being threatened, and this is not the first time. It’s becoming too frequent. I don’t know what game he is talking about. My life is under threat, and if anything happens to me, y’all know who to hold responsible. I’m sharing this to protect myself.”
The allegations have sparked widespread reactions online, with many fans expressing concern over the escalating tension between Davido and members of Wizkid’s camp.
