ADC Raises Concern Over FCT Court Case Handling
The African Democratic Congress has raised concerns over the handling of the case involving Nafiu Bala at the Federal Capital Territory court in Abuja.
The party said it is closely monitoring the proceedings and is worried about how the trial is being conducted.
The party expressed concern that the manner of the case could affect public trust in the justice system.
It called for fairness in the process and urged all parties to be treated equally under the law throughout the hearing.
Party representatives said the judiciary must remain neutral and avoid any action that could raise doubts about its independence.
They added that the courts play a key role in protecting democratic values and must act in a way that builds confidence.
The ADC also called for transparency in the proceedings, insisting that due process should be followed at every stage.
It maintained that only a fair and balanced judicial process can strengthen public confidence in democratic institutions.
