Dele Momodu Rejects VP Ambition With Atiku
Dele Momodu has denied reports linking him to a vice-presidential bid with Atiku Abubakar. He said the claim is false and insisted he has no plan to contest in the 2027 elections.
In a statement, Momodu described the report as a distraction and urged supporters to ignore it. He made it clear that he is stepping away from electoral contests for now.
Instead, he said he will focus on supporting opposition unity, backing efforts to build a strong coalition against the All Progressives Congress government.
He also pledged support for candidates within the African Democratic Congress.
Momodu added that political discussions should remain respectful, warning against attacks on leaders. He said his priority is helping the opposition unite ahead of the 2027 polls.
