INEC Starts Staff Recruitment For Osun Governorship Poll
The Independent National Electoral Commission has opened applications for ad hoc staff ahead of the August 15, 2026, governorship election in Osun State.
The recruitment exercise began on June 27 and will close on July 18 through the INECPRES portal.
The commission is recruiting Supervisory Presiding Officers, Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers, Registration Area Technical Support Staff and Registration Area Centre Managers.
Eligible civil servants, corps members, recent ex-corps members and qualified students are expected to apply for the available positions.
INEC said only applicants who are not members of any political party and have not publicly supported any candidate or political party will be considered.
The commission said the measure is to protect the credibility of the election process.
The electoral body advised interested Nigerians to submit their applications before the deadline, as late entries will not be accepted.
Successful applicants will take part in the conduct of the Osun governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.
