Otedola Clears Air On Funding Dangote Refinery
In Nigeria, billionaire businessman Femi Otedola on Monday dismissed claims linking him to the funding of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery.
He said the reports circulating online were false and misleading.
Otedola stated that he did not invest any money in the refinery project.
He also clarified that he was not approached by Aliko Dangote for financial support, along with other prominent business figures mentioned in the reports.
He explained that the refinery was financed through structured means by the Dangote Group, adding that the rumours were attempts to create division among business leaders in the country.
Otedola urged the public to ignore unverified claims and called for responsible use of social media. He maintained that accurate information should guide public discussion, not fabricated stories.
