NDC Rejects Court Deregistration Reasons
National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Seriake Dickson, has criticised the developments surrounding the court ruling on the party’s deregistration, describing the actions leading to the decision as unnecessary and damaging.
Dickson argued that the legal process was driven by weak grounds and said it had created an embarrassing situation for the country’s democratic system. He maintained that the party would not be discouraged.
The former governor insisted that the NDC would continue to pursue all lawful means to defend its status and protect the rights of its members and supporters.
He expressed confidence that the party would overcome the setback, saying the legal and political process was far from over.
