Abducted Abuja Lawyer Found Safe
Missing lawyer and NYSC member Eunice Ameh has been found safe days after she disappeared in Abuja, bringing relief to her family, friends and members of the legal community.
Sources confirmed on Sunday that she was discovered unharmed after days of fear and uncertainty over her whereabouts.
Ameh was last seen on May 6 after leaving work in Abuja before she was found on May 10.
Details surrounding where she was found and what happened during the period of her disappearance were still unclear as of Sunday morning.
The case had sparked concern across the country after the Nigerian Bar Association demanded urgent action from security agencies.
NBA President Afam Osigwe described the disappearance as painful for the legal community and called for immediate efforts to secure her release.
Before she was found, family members said Ameh had recently started working as a sales manager at a company in Maitama while preparing to complete her NYSC programme in the Federal Capital Territory.
The matter had earlier been reported to the police and NYSC authorities after she failed to return home from work.
