ADC Confirms Atiku’s Form Payment
The African Democratic Congress has confirmed that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has completed payment for the party’s presidential nomination form ahead of the 2027 election.
The party shared details of the payment on Saturday alongside an official receipt showing a ₦90 million bank draft dated May 8, 2026.
The move places Atiku among the early contenders preparing for the next presidential race.

According to the party, the payment marks another stage in its preparations as opposition politics continue to gather pace ahead of 2027.
The ADC said the development reflects growing interest in its platform as political figures search for new alliances and stronger structures before campaigns begin nationwide.
The party added that Atiku’s formal presentation of nomination documents is expected to take place on Monday at its national secretariat in Abuja.
ADC leaders described the moment as part of a wider push to position the party as a major force in the coming election cycle.
The confirmation comes as political activity continues to rise across opposition parties, with several politicians already making moves ahead of party primaries.
ADC said it remains focused on building support around issues such as security, economic recovery and national unity as preparations for the 2027 contest continue.
