Anambra Students Donate Millions For Tinubu
Beneficiaries of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund in Anambra State have thrown their support behind President Bola Tinubu’s second-term bid ahead of the 2027 election.
The students also contributed N10.7 million toward the purchase of his expression of interest form, describing the education loan scheme as life-changing for many young Nigerians.
The endorsement was announced during a gathering of student beneficiaries in Awka, where participants praised the federal government’s student loan initiative for easing financial pressure on families and helping students remain in school.
Many said the programme had restored hope among undergraduates struggling with tuition and living costs.
The group explained that the donation was meant to show appreciation for policies they believe are improving access to education.
They added that the student loan programme had opened opportunities for thousands of students who previously faced the risk of dropping out because of hardship.
The development adds to the growing political activities ahead of the 2027 elections as supporters of major parties and candidates continue to mobilise across different states.
Tinubu’s allies have continued to defend his reforms, arguing that ongoing policies will produce better economic results over time.
