Arrest Criminals Without Fear, Even If It’s My Son – Adeleke To IGP
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has declared that anyone linked to criminal activities should face arrest, regardless of family ties. He made the remark while addressing the Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu.
The governor said the fight against crime must be carried out without bias or special treatment. He maintained that the law should apply equally to everyone, including those close to public office holders.
Adeleke stated that he would not interfere if any member of his family, including his son, was found to have committed an offence. He said justice should take its course without favour.
He urged the police to remain firm in enforcing the law and ensure that every suspect is treated according to legal procedures, saying public confidence depends on fairness and accountability.
