NANS Cautions Tinubu Over Gbajabiamila Allegations
The National Association of Nigerian Students has urged President Bola Tinubu not to take any action against his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, over claims linked to the controversy involving Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi.
The student body said no official should be punished before the facts are fully established.
The association made its position known while reacting to the ongoing debate surrounding the allegations.
It maintained that accusations alone should not be used as the basis for disciplinary action against any public office holder.
According to NANS, the matter should be handled through a proper investigation, allowing the relevant authorities to establish the truth before any decision is taken.
The group insisted that due process must be respected throughout the case.
The students also appealed for fairness and restraint, saying the allegations should not lead to hasty conclusions.
They urged all parties to allow the legal process to run its course before any judgement is made.
