Sowore Regains Freedom From Kuje
Omoyele Sowore has regained his freedom after leaving Kuje Correctional Centre, where he had been held following the revocation of his bail.
His release comes after the court restored his bail, allowing him to continue his legal battle outside prison.
After stepping out of custody, Sowore described his detention as unjust and blamed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for his ordeal. He maintained that the experience had not weakened his resolve.
According to him, his time in prison had only strengthened his commitment to pursuing justice and speaking out against what he believes are wrongs in the country. He insisted that his determination remained firm despite the setback.
Sowore said he would continue his activism and campaign for accountability, declaring that he would not abandon the struggle or give in to pressure from the authorities.
