We’ll Continue To Empower Akara, Pepper And Plaintain Sellers – Remi Tinubu
First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has said the Federal Government will continue supporting small business owners across the country through its empowerment programmes.
She explained that the initiative is not limited to a few traders but covers many people earning a living from small businesses.
She clarified that beneficiaries include akara sellers, pepper sellers, roasted plantain vendors and other petty traders.
According to her, the programme is meant to help low-income Nigerians improve their businesses and increase their earnings.
The First Lady said the empowerment scheme is part of the Tinubu administration’s plan to support families, reduce hardship and create more economic opportunities for ordinary citizens.
She maintained that small businesses remain important to local communities and the wider economy.
She assured Nigerians that the programme would continue to reach more traders across the country, saying the government remains committed to helping grassroots entrepreneurs grow their businesses and improve their standard of living.
