Jonathan Meets Tinubu At Aso Rock
Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday visited Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting took place in the afternoon and is part of ongoing engagements between both leaders.
The visit was confirmed by presidential aide Bayo Onanuga, who shared details of the meeting.
Photos from the session showed both men in a calm discussion inside the president’s office. No official statement was released on what they discussed.
The meeting comes months after Jonathan’s last visit in November 2025, when he briefed Tinubu after leaving Guinea-Bissau during a political crisis.
He had been in the country as part of a regional election mission.
Jonathan has remained active in West African affairs, often serving as a mediator and election observer across the region.
His continued engagements reflect his role in regional diplomacy and political consultations.
