Sowore Taunts Malami In Court
At the Federal High Court in Abuja, activist Omoyele Sowore on Monday confronted former Attorney-General Abubakar Malami, mocking his current legal troubles.
The exchange, captured in a viral video, drew attention to tensions around Nigeria’s justice system.
During the encounter, Sowore told Malami he was now facing the same system he once defended while in government.
He criticised the justice process and said earlier warnings about its flaws were ignored at the time.
Sowore also made a symbolic gesture by offering Malami a cap, describing it as a sign of resistance.
Despite his remarks, he acknowledged Malami’s composure during the ongoing legal proceedings.
Malami responded briefly, saying he remained strong and committed to attending court sessions.
He added that he has been active in political meetings but missed a recent opposition gathering in Ibadan due to court obligations.
